Foreign, tortured and defiled by a group of Bandits, making her life even worse.
But how did she survive being kidnapped twice by a group of armed people and came out alive?
And how is she coping with life after all what happened?
But they were back in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the second largest country in Africa, where, in coma.
We visit this mother and she shares her story to the world is.
She was born in a family of three, two girls and one boy.
She’s the first born in the family.
Her life since young was difficult that she had to be raised in her uncle’s family as a parent wat raise the three children fast forward.
She’s now a mother to one baby but has no husband, and she shares with us a terrifying and painful story of how she gave birth to this kid.
I give birth to my child in some difficult and strange conditions.
It was one day when we were going to Rotoru and a group of Bandits attacked and killed everyone who was with me and kidnapping me and forcing me to be their wife, with the high risk of dying.
If I say no, it was obvious that I had to be killed instantly.
If I say no, thank you, stop being kidnapped.
She spent four months in the forest with those Rebels, to say because they were armed, but finally found our through and escaped before being kidnapped again and leaving her pregnant.
Around March 2019, other group of rebels raided this region, causing insecurities and killing many people.
It was in the evening when the assault happened.
I was taken with a lot of other women and all they did was sleeping with us.
It left me traumatized due to what happened during those days, as they were eliminating anyone who repelled, but God has always provided a way and I managed to escape and quickly visit the hospital for some treatments.
She returned to her normal life, went back to school as her uncles were ready to pay her school fees, but the mother later died.
For the next years she lived like anyone else here, but then everything changed and was even well worse than her previous attacks, and she ended up becoming pregnant.
So honestly, those people are heartless.
They could care about nothing, who are treated like animals, and it was so cruel one day they would come tie me up and beat me the next day, not sleep with me, in a way that I cannot explain.
I even thought of committing suicide, because it’s like I was not living life at all, it was better than having died than experiencing traumatic events that I went through.
I, at least God, never gave up on her, because, regardless of the help she went through, she always found her way out and is kept.
But this time she was pregnant and could not return where she lived, bearing in mind that her neighbors never saw her get married, and it would traumatize her more when explaining how and why she got pregnant and opted moving to another neighborhood.
Up to this present day.
She does not know who is the father for a child, because the four men who kidnapped her all slept with her, and they did it multiple times.
That would make it difficult for her to really know who the father is, but still, even if she got a clue of what that is, it would never make any impact in terms of helping her raise the child.
A lot of people thought that I had got married and my marriage was maybe not successful, but that’s not my story one.
I never loved any of the four men who kidnapped me, and it wasn’t my will to be with them.
I was taken as a slave who had to serve her Masters.
Willing or not, you ever thought of resisting, then that would be the end of your time in this world being the reason we always try to abide by their rules.
One man would kidnap and sleep with more women.
Having many women in the same house and sharing the bed was not a surprise.
Upon her return, she already knew that she had conceived.
At first she thought of abortion and later said she cannot take out the life of her own fill aside.
And after nine months she then gave birth to This Little Prince, despite the challenges in tough life she went through for multiple times.
She says having this baby means more and gives her more joy, because it erases all the bad memories and gives her the help that maybe life ahead will be better.
She is living a happy life with a kid and praise for God to help her raise this young man.
Oh, I love my baby boy, regardless of who the father is, and I’m glad the baby looks more like me.
It’s now been Aya since I left the jungle.
I never wanted to live in that cruel situation.
That would have complicated even my boy’s life, of which I never wish to say.
When she returned, she went straight to her brother’s house, but she never felt comfortable around other people there and opted going somewhere else, where there was no friend, no relative and no one who knew her.
That was like suicide, but it was better for her peace of mind, and that’s how she came here.
She does tailoring as a profession, but has no sewing machine, and surviving is much more complicated, which is why she’s here requesting for the support so that she can at least buy her own sewing machine that can help her raise the baby and improve her standards of living as well.
Grace is the sister in law to Amani and adds that what a money went through in 2019 was something straight out of a horror movie.
I was not around.
I had gone to Kampala for some business reasons and I was thought that she was kidnapped.
No one knew where she had gone with such, but couldn’t find her.
When we had lost hope, thinking that she was maybe killed, injured or had something bad, she returned and told us of what happened and who are left shot.
It happened for the second time.
Wash was tortured.
She returned when she was about to run mud due to the trauma she had.
We were near her, helping her to have a self-acceptance and move on.
But you understand, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
It was a long process, but she’s now happy with her kid
And we wish them all the best.
Thank you.
A money who went through a lot now struggles with raising her child but has some good tailoring skills that would help her in case she got a sewing machine.

Suffering is not the end of the story.
We can get lost in our suffering, but we can also be a witness to bravery and the possibility of life.
